A Novel Technique to Restore a Large Maxillary Defect- A Case Report

The causes of maxillary defects can be congenital or acquired in nature and management these often require surgical removal a part almost the whole maxilla. This may result establishment oro-antral communication which ultimately hampers daily routine activities patients such as speaking, swallowing, sneezing coughing. Improvement with obturator prosthesis has been found to beneficial patients. However, one main obstacles restoring large defect is heaviness makes it non-retentive. To conquer difficulties, diverse techniques are used build up hollow bulb obturators. Here we report case 75 year old male Class I Aramany’s was restored by provisional designed shape close using clear streamlined method for fabrication.
